IMET GBS 240 GH Autocut bandsaw
Bandsaw with gravity lowering suitable for the maintenance and for small productions of section bars, tubes, and solids up to 60° left.
Vice with quick clamping. Easy stops at 0°, 45° and 60° left, graduated plate to identify different angles.
Band guides with bearings for blade alignment,pulleys with 260 mm diameter.
AUTOCUT GH Version with “3 Ways” Selector:
– A Manual cut.
– B Manual cut with self-brake.
– C Automatic cut with adjustable down-feed rate and stop at the end of the cut. The user can move manually the sawframe close to the material,then let the machine make the cut adjusting only the down-feed rate.
Cutting capacity at 90° round till 240 mm., square till 230 mm. and rectangular till 270×230 mm.

GBS 240 GH is the IMET controlled descent sawing machine. Versatile and easy to use, ideal for small and medium series mechanical productions and for small and medium carpentry. The machine performs angled cuts up to 60 ° left.
Working surface
GBS 240 GH has a large worktop with rotation integral with the bow designed to avoid incisions on the same on a ball bearing for easy rotation.
Vice
The vice with adjustable guides, sliding transversally on the work surface and quick approach to the cutting material.
Blade
The bimetal blade has a size of 2730x27x0.9mm with a speed of use between 30 and 70 m / min making it the ideal tool for processing steel and cast iron.
Autonomous Cut
The controlled descent system is equipped with an automatic operation with a 3-position selector for:
